SIN()

Description

Returns an angle's sine. The argument must be given in radians.

Result type: DOUBLE PRECISION

Syntax 

SIN (angle)
  • Any non-NULL result is – obviously – in the range [-1, 1].

Important: If the external function SIN is declared in your database, it will override the internal function. To make the internal function available, DROP or ALTER the external function (UDF).
